Privacy Policy

BattleMetrics Playtime is a Chrome extension that displays a player’s total playtime (hours) on BattleMetrics player pages.

Data collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The extension runs entirely in the user’s browser.

How it works

• Runs only on https://www.battlemetrics.com/players/*.
• Reads the player ID from the page URL.
• Makes a read-only request to the public BattleMetrics API at https://api.battlemetrics.com to fetch playtime totals.
• Renders a “Total Playtime” line in the page. No data is sent to any server we control.

Permissions

• https://www.battlemetrics.com/* – to run the content script and modify the DOM.
• https://api.battlemetrics.com/* – to fetch public playtime (read-only).

Third parties

No analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs are used.

Data sharing & sale

We do not share or sell any user data.

Children’s privacy

The extension is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the Chrome Web Store listing.
